§ THE LAB

A small research-supply lab built around documented chemistry.

We synthesise, purify and verify a narrow range of research peptides for controlled laboratory study. We deliberately keep the catalogue small so that the analytical bar we hold — HPLC profiling, mass-spectrometry identification, and per-batch certification — can stay consistent at the bench rather than only on the label.

§ ORIGIN

Why this lab exists.

Most research compound supply chains optimise for breadth. Catalogues run into the hundreds of compounds and there's no realistic way to hold a consistent analytical standard across that range. The result for the researcher is unpredictable: batch-to-batch purity moves around, COAs are inherited from upstream suppliers, and identity verification is often missing.

Bio Coding Labs was set up to do the opposite. A narrow catalogue. Synthesis and verification under a documented protocol. Every batch tested in-house with the certificate that confirms it. Where we cannot hold that standard for a compound, we don't add it to the list.

§ HOW WE WORK

The bench, plainly.

Compounds are produced by solid-phase peptide synthesis using documented Fmoc-strategy protocols. Crude material is logged before purification. Reverse-phase preparative HPLC is used to separate the target peptide from synthesis by-products; fractions that don't meet our purity threshold are excluded from the batch rather than blended.

Identity and purity are then confirmed by analytical HPLC (typically at 220 and 280 nm) and mass spectrometry. The observed retention time, peak area, and mass go directly onto the certificate of analysis for that batch. The vial that ships to you carries the same batch reference as the certificate. There is no mixing of batches under a single label.

Final material is sterile-filtered, lyophilised, and sealed under nitrogen. Pack-out checks batch, weight, COA reference and label before despatch.

§ EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

We also certify the educators.

Alongside the supply side of the lab, we run a small private certification programme — the Bio Coding Labs Peptide Research Specialist — for clinicians, supplement consultants and researchers who teach on research-chemical topics. It's a documented curriculum covering analytical chemistry literacy, reconstitution and lab-handling protocols, the regulatory boundary between research and clinical use, and the limits of what can responsibly be communicated to clients. It is explicitly an education credential. It is not a licence to supply compounds for human use, and it confers no clinical or prescribing authority.

Certified specialists currently practise at affiliated wellness clinics including My Body Clinic (Brighton). Their role at those clinics is research and education only — helping clients understand the published literature, the chemistry, and what is and isn't supported by it. They do not source compounds from us for clinical or human-use purposes, and we do not supply them in any quantity intended for that.

§ WHAT WE ARE NOT

The lines we don't cross.

  • We are not a clinical service. We do not provide medical, clinical or dosing guidance.
  • We do not claim formal GMP certification — we follow GMP-aligned procedures, and we say so on the FAQ.
  • We do not market compounds for human use, in-vivo administration, or any application outside controlled laboratory study.
  • We do not blend batches, ship without certificates, or release material that fails purity QC.
